Week 3 Post-QLD (this week just gone)
In the last two entries I've somehow managed to already write about parts of this week, in bits and pieces where that topic has come up. So just a short list: Monday I trained for league tag. ...
Week 2 Post-QLD Part 2 (Relay for Life)
So now we're up to Saturday - Relay for Life. Basically this is an event that goes all night. You get a team together (of 10-15 people), and you all relay around a circuit for the whole night. T...
Week 2 Post-Queensland (Part One)
The Monday after the ball (with grizzly bear dude lol) we were pretty exhausted. That night I had to read the bible at church as part of the service that welcomed in the new minister (I think the...
Since our last Trip to QLD
Things have been busier than usual since we went to QLD to meet Matt and Liv's baby. We drove back on the Sunday afternoon and didn't get home until around 2 in the morning. On that Monday aftern...
Library
This morning I had to go into town to do a stocktake of some leftover souvenirs from last year's Drovers Campfire. After that I had planned to go to the local library to use their WiFi and get so...
The Mining Thing - a disgruntled entry
I really need to write about this. So with hot chocolate by my side, I am ready. One of the things that I am really getting over is the whole Farmer vs. Miner thing. I am getting over the assump...
She Rides
Today was the day that M learned how to ride her bike without training wheels, by herself. One of those milestones that you know will happen one day, but you don't really have a clear vision of i...
Beginning of the Weekend
The beginning of the weekend, for me, is Friday afternoon. Old habits die hard, and one of my old habits is to just RELAX. (Lol not so bad huh!) My brain kind of switches off and goes into weeken...
Some Things go Unwritten
Sometimes I want to write about a particular thing that may have happened in my day, but then I find that writing about that one particular thing won't be enough, because it turns out that this o...
The Things This Mama Does for Her Bebbehs
So.... I've been typing up a Book of Manners. Sounds crazy, I know, but it is oh so necessary. I don't think M understands the social rules a lot of the time, even though they are things I've exp...
What I've Been up to Lately
I've been quite the involved one, lately. I'm part of the Drover's Campfire Committee this year so I've been attending meetings, writing up programs and contacting big bosses from the mines and ...
To Be Continued
Well the talk with L went well, considering the topic, lol. He totally did understand. I actually started crying a little bit, which was unexpected (on both our parts I assume! lol). It just show...
I Don't Want Sex Tomorrow
Tomorrow, I have no plans. Little L will be at preschool for the first time in her life. For the first time in my life, I will have 6 hours to myself, while both my children are in some sort of p...
When Little L Does the Dishes
When M was 2, she used to help me wash the dishes. She really enjoyed this activity and she concentrated and did a great job. L could've never helped me with the dishes at the age of 2 due to her...
A Litttle on OD
I was D684459. I had a total of 1165 entries, 537 of those were private, and 10 friends only. (The private ones were originally posted publicly, but I went through and made them private at a late...
OzTag Training
I did my first night of training for OzTag tonight. I was nervous as anything all the way there, and I kept telling myself, "Just breathe, just breathe!" I don't know why but I get pretty nervous...

I am in love with this bikini: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Bikini-Bar-Cream-Top-Womens-Balcony-Bikini-Rouge-/290960208991?pt=UKWomens_Swimwear&var=&hash=item43be94745f Today was quite h...
Where The Heart Is
In other news, I can tell you with certainty that I'm just biding my time here. This doesn't come out of any dramatic occurrence or unfolding drama.... I just know it. The bottom line is, home ...
Wedding Invite
So we got an invite in the mail yesterday for a wedding.... in New Zealand! Lol. It's one of L's cousins. We heard of this wedding about six months ago. L's parents got an invite a few months af...
Tick tock
First of February. Three years and eleven months to go.
Clothes and Stripes
Looking at the website RB Sellars. It's a clothing brand, and the slogan is "Outback to Ocean." There's not a whole lot of ocean about it (chuckle). There are a few items I wouldn't mind buying, ...
Weekend / First Day Year One / Preschool Visit
We went to Tamworth on the weekend and saw Saving Mr Banks. It was a really great movie. A little beyond our children, and the theme of the author's life was a little deep for my liking with my k...
My Days - The Good, The Bad, The Spiritual and Physical
Today is M's last day of school holidays. Since returning from our big three weeks away (which took up the first half of her holidays), I haven't really made a huge effort in terms of creating aw...
Exhausted / I Need my man to be Grateful Too
I am floored today, absolutely exhausted. I did Battle PT for the first time again on Thursday and I forgot that it's not the next day that hurts, but the day after! Seeing as this one was my fir...
Studies, De-Cluttering, Girls' Swimming, Fake Tattoos
I am totally getting back into my studies, FINALLY! A lot of the feedback I've received from the markers have been things like, "use more references if you want a better grade than a Credit," ri...
Book Description
My drive has always been, “Happiness is my Destiny.”
However, over the years I have realised that really, there is happiness to be embraced every single day of my life. Of course, the contents of my days aren’t ONLY happiness - my destiny is here, right now, this minute, this breath.
So breathe with me.
So:
L is my husband. He is awesome, there is no other word to describe him. Oh yeah there is, thoughtful, funny, helpful, funny, amazing in bed, funny. And.... FUNNY!
M is my daughter, she is 5. Headstrong, loving, individual. Beautiful. Learning how she relates to the world and learning all about Big Girl friendships since starting school. Her journey has truly begun now and she is finding her way. She’ll be a little woman before I know it. (this scares me)
L is my other daughter, she is ‘almost 3’ (she’ll tell you everyday). She is funny, crazy, cute. Definitely cute. Innocent, sensitive, in tune with nature, aware of her surroundings, beautiful.
I’m not sure that I write about anyone else all that regularly, but you’ll figure out who they are.
Welcome :)
