Fed up with being unwell

Slipping Through my Fingers
I watched Mamma Mia on TV yet again last week. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve seen it. It’s on TV a lot and each time I say no, I won’t watch again as I only saw it a few months back...

It looks as though my migraines were partly caused by medication
I’m not writing entries here nearly as much as I would like to. It’s partly that my concentration is often really bad from withdrawing from the tranquilizers I’m finding writing more difficult. O...
My personal battle and world wars
It's over a month since I wrote an entry! Coming off the tranquilizers is going reasonably well. The doctor has given me a liquid equivalent so that it is easier to reduce by a small amount. I s...
Sarah my great great grandmother
One of my hobbies is genealogy. I really enjoy finding out about my ancestors, the way they lived and the places they lived in. I've always had this interest, but progress was slow until the Inte...
Feeling angry with the medical profession
Just as life was going well and I was starting to really enjoy the summer my doctor has made a decision which is really hard. I've been on tranquilizers since a few months after I got married. At...
Folk clubs, open mics and my birthday

Book Description
I live in a terraced cottage on a hillside in South Herefordshire, UK. We are just in England but from our windows we have a view of the Black Mountains which are in Wales. I live with my husband, 2 grown up sons and 4 cats, we also have a daughter who lives with her boyfriend in South Wales.
I don’t have good health but I do voluntary work on a crisis helpline. I love writing. I write poetry and have written a book about my childhood growing up in a pub in Shrewsbury which I am hoping to get published.
I love music. I sing and play guitar and enjoy entertaining, though I don’t get to do that so much as before my health got bad. My other interests are psychology, the environment, history, gardening, genealogy and travel.
Because of my health I am home a lot and this is my view from the terrace..
