Today was the hubbys last day here. He heads back “home” for 3 weeks for work. We wont see him again till Christmas.
So we went for a lovely drive and hike in the really bizzare and awesome park here with the crazy rock formations. We managed to walk on a road and get ourselves on top of one haha. Was pretty awesome. Top of the world feeling haha. So many amazing views even though it was foggy/hazy out.
The kids LOVE climbing up there. You can tell they are used to it. The dogs were everywhere. The kids were everywhere. It was beautiful. I took so many photos! Ill upload them to my computer here soon.
Then we drove up the highway and saw a few awesome views before headed back.
T and I went out to eat after that. We wont have much time together seeing he will be 3500 miles away haha. So this was our last time doing something sans kids for a while. Just a quick out to eat seeing im not feeling so hot, damn headache is never ending here!

I got my heartrate up on the hike, and met my step goal for the day, WOO ME!

Tomorrow we MAY go to the zoo lights. They open up the zoo at night to members and have warming fires and the nocturnal animals are active. The zoo is all lit up! It would be really nice. I think the kids would enjoy it! Papa also was talking about setting p the christmas lights outside, and my mom wanted to do the tree in the house. Rearrange inside for it. Then my sister got a permit to cut a tree. So we may do that too.

I also need to hit up costco or sams and get some staples. We got word that the half a cow we bought has been dispatched. They age the beef for 20 days then send it to the butcher. Its going to cost us 1400 for half a cow. Roughly 400 and some change lbs. Its pretty cheap per pound vs the store! Its just a huge chunk of money. I said we need to eat out of the freezer this month so we have place to put our 400 lbs of cow. Im actually excited for the cow haha. I really miss steak. It was so much cheaper in Alaska. There was a prison near by and they raised livestock and had massive gardens they tended. So then they sold the meat at a cheaper price. Rib eyes were under 6 a lb there. Its 12 plus here. But the half a cow was around 4 a lb.

Kinda cant wait. Im such an adult lol.

Oh yesterday i had an appointment for lasik consult. Im going to go ahead and schedule it for some time in the early next year and get my eyes fixed. Im hoping maybe ill have less headaches. Its a chance right! We got the care credit when the dog was injured and we have enough left on it for the surgery. BUT if we pay the dog bill off it first, then we have 24 months NO interest to pay off the surgery. Bonus right. Im going to do that. Just. After we pay for the cow, and Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas, I hate shopping for kids. It gives me a headache. SO much headache. And with the pay days this year. ill be doing ALL my shopping the week before....
BUT i did decided seeing T is going to be back in Ak. im going to crochet and knit him a blanket. yeah both. Because im bi-stitchual like that ;) He has wanted one and i cant buy him something that would impress him. Im a crappy wife. I can never pick gifts. He just likes guns and mountain biking and hates the government. I thought i was clever with the bumper stickers i bought him. He loved those. One is F it with a stick figure humping the F. and the other is Git gud scrub. The kids helped lol. He loved those. I suck at gift giving though. I really do.

Ok i gotta go. ad is hurting and i need to figure out a few logistics for his flight! :)
