This is what addiction looks like in ins and Outs 2015

Drinking the left over beer in the fridge from yesterday. Maybe you could have stayed sober today, but One is never just one. You go to the store for produce, walk out with produce and a four pack of tall ones. The tall ones are purchased separately so they don’t show on the receipt, and one is immediately pulled from its protective plastic ring and placed in your purse. That way, consumption is easier. Plus, everyone knows you don’t hide all of your treasure in one place.

Left overs: gone.
Tall ones: gone.
Mouthwash to remove beer smell: gone.

Plan: Convince other half that “Only two beers tonight isn’t so bad” so that I can excuse buying another four pack of tall ones.

This will probably require at least lying but most likely also being able to convince them that they should drink.
Reasons they should drink :
It’s been a long week.
They have worked hard.
The week is almost done- that is cause for celebration and relaxation.
You want one.
You will most likely have to use more than one of these excuses while also being good at hiding the fact that you are more than five deep.

THAT is not today. That is the passed 10 months of my life and will be the next 10 years if I don’t find a way out…now.

*edit
Addiction is not even asking your other half and going across the street to get it yourself because you can’t risk being talked out of it. Addiction is ignoring your cell phone when you know it doesn’t support your addiction.
