Was called into my Youth Managers office this morning to follow up on that Google review.
Backstory: I wrote a negative Google review and the owner of the business showed up at my work. I used my personal email and did not post where I work when I said I would discontinue business with them. He showed up at my work and wrote an email to my employers.
Basically, I was given an ultimatum about hurting the community. They stand with the business owner. When you google my name, it shows where I work. I do not list anywhere who I work for, but they list us. So I represent the organization and need to act like good little property. She stated that I was on company time, I wasn’t. She knows absolutely nothing about my program actually.
Obviously I am making them remove my name from everywhere until Google no longer posts where I work.
I don’t know if this is still going to escalate, but if it does I am going to file a police report against that man. Then seek out legal aid to see what my options are here. Hopefully this is just the end of it.
