If you have had the privilege of becoming a mother you are one of the more precious creatures on this planet. I sincerely mean that. There’s probably not a tougher job in the universe that compares to carrying and giving birth. That pain probably doesn’t even compare to anyone who outlived their own and it is probably because of that internal connection you shared for the months you carried them.
Even for anyone reading this that couldn’t carry and never got the chance to meet them - you are special. You know a pain that is unlike any pain a man will never understand. My heart breaks for you.
For anyone that chose a different path; whether it was thru trauma, fear, or pressure - I’m sorry you ever had to experience one of the worse things to happen. No potential mom should ever have to make those choices - you should always be valued. You too, in my eyes are more special than you realize.
I sure hope my heart is on display here and I never want anyone to think I would judge but have the utmost respect and empathy. Mom’s are the greatest - and even if you don’t have children or physically can’t - you have ‘mom’ woven into your DNA and as a woman possess something a man just can’t. The ability to see the world as something nurtured and not conquered.
