Someone mentioned that Jane Pauley hosts some weekend thing on CBS now and, honestly, I thought she’d died like 20 years ago. Is this a “Mandela Effect” thing or do I just watch so little broadcast television that I’m the one outta touch?

I love when car ads have characters within the ad diagetically refer to the current set of fake discounts as a “Sales Event”. It’s one thing for a narrator to do it, but no human being naturally uses soulless corporate speak like that. Gotta be scripted & paid to be that awkward.
