Preparing for violence tonight in Questions

In the summer of 2020, during the BLM marches, they burned down several buildings in my community. The tore apart the police station. They looted countless businesses.

I expect more of that tonight.

I understand being angry about this decision, I really do.
I don’t understand destroying your own community over it.

I guess we’ll see what happens.

I’m getting ready for another night of fires, explosions, helicopters, sirens, screaming…

All I know is mother fuckers better stay away from my apartment, I’m not fucking around tonight.

Well all you have to do is refer to the Rodney King riots in 1992. History does not repeat itself but it certainly rhymes. They destroy their own homes and neighborhoods.

I deeply regret that that one person threatened that one supreme court justice all that extra security now😎

I mean, there have been flyers passed around, and organization on social media calling for violence this evening.

String up the politicians, cut out the cancer, I can get behind that.

But leave the communities alone.

I totally agree. I am doubtful there will be any kind of mass violence for something like this. But then again I may be naive. Where I live I think it would be mass violence If someone robbed the local Mexican restaurant.

I hope you're right. These last couple of years have taught me to expect for and plan for the worst.

I fucking hate this timeline

Understand. I have thought about that. In other times I could have died of polio. Or plague. Or tortured to death by the japs during WWII. Died in one of many wars. Killed by religious fanatics. Plagues and disease over and over. Random violence. But in some ways, so much does not change. I got lucky with the VN war ending around the time I graduated from HS. We all could have died a few times by some nuclear mishaps. We shit lucked out with Cuban missile crisis. I remember how scary that was. Have we survived trump? Someone please give Merrick Garland a pair of balls.

I agree that violence is never the answer to any problem. BUT... The removal of the warped twisted "justices" would certainly help. Unfortunately, there's only one way to get rid of them. Kudos to anybody who is brave enough to do so, but I'm sure they'll be just fine, unfortunately. The SCOTUS is invincible and they know it. :(

And that's what I'm saying. It's time to start hanging some mother fuckers...Not even over Roe V Wade, it's been time to start hanging some mother fuckers for a while now...this is just one more notch for the reasons why
