Hey. Today really sucked…this douche at work…who is holier than thou…is becoming number one on my shit list lately. They told us this week-long audit we’ve been having isn’t going well at all. This is our biggest customer, and if they pull out of their contract I could lose my job. I could really use your advice right now.
I was thinking about you earlier…
Remember when I’d finally get a night off of work, and we were trying to find something to watch on Netflix? It was pretty damn dry. Netflix never really had any good movies to watch. So a lot of times, we’d throw on the ‘Planet Earth’ series and all these other nature documentaries. I don’t know what it was, but there was something about sitting with my favorite person in the world and watch hippo’s poop. It made me feel special....you could’ve spent that time with someone else. Out of 7.53 Billion people in the world, I was the ONE you wanted to be with. It didn’t matter what we were doing. As long as you were by my side, I was able to do ANYTHING, and be the closest I’ve ever been to happy.
Today, if I walk past a TV and see animals eating bugs off each other and animals pissing in the community drinking pond, I think of you. And I smile. Because for a split second, I’m there again. With you in my arms, and I get to call you my princess. I get to keep my promise…I get to tell you I love you…and stare deep into those beautiful eyes, and see that you loved me “MORE”! and for once…everything is okay.
