Well Shit in Hello

Boss never made the schedule yesterday so I texted him asking if we work tonight.

Yup. Damnit.

I had court this morning for bankruptcy. Mostly answering a few questions about my assets and if I’m suing someone, inheritance and the like. Less than two minutes of questions while an hour and a half of waiting. I was beat when I finally got back home. Ended up ordering a pizza for lunch seeing how I didn’t want leftovers or a sandwich.

Now I’m laying on the couch with a crick in my neck. (Work related, looking at parts under the Mantis scope at an awkward angle.) Waiting on the Aeleve PM’s to kick in. I actually don’t care about working tonight. I called in Wednesday night due to feeling incredibly depressed. At first I told the supervisor I was still sick at my stomach but an hour or two later came clean and told him about my depression. He was really cool about it and told me last night his wife has bad depression. Said if I ever need an ear he’ll listen. I wish more people were like that in this crappy world.

Anyways, I’m going to continue to lay here and fade in and out of this episode of Law & Order. Detectives Lenny Briscoe and Ed Green are two of my favorite TV cop duos.

Peace y’all.

That's awesome that you have an understanding supervisor.

Oh ya. It's a rare thing but as mental illness awareness is on the rise a lot more people are being more respectful and understanding.
