Again... in 2020

It’s been forever again. I haven’t exactly bounced back and am still in a perpetual funk. Grieving sucks and it hasn’t gotten any better.
The holidays were bleh. My sister’s dog had bone cancer and they opted to have his leg amputated in an attempt to save him. The surgery seemed to go well, but then later that night he apparently threw a blood clot and died of a pulmonary embolism. Her and her hubby were extremely upset and it was like a week before Christmas. So I went and got them the fluffiest chonkiest great pyrenees puppy I could find. They named him Clark Griswold and call him Grizz. He was barely over 8 weeks when I gave him to her and already weighed 31 lbs. He’s 11 weeks old now and weighs like 38 lbs. It definitely helped them get through the holidays and I think once they’re out of the puppy chew stage things will be easier.
Of course all this made me think about getting another puppy, but then I felt guilty about it, and then I kept telling myself it’s just not the right time bc my other dogs wouldn’t handle it well. All of that is true, but I guess I was also a little resentful that no one got me a puppy.
Christmas was just meh… mostly my parents just wrote me a check. Christmas with my bfs family was kinda awkward bc he’s just not very good at shopping and his family is weird and I feel like he definitely shelled out a bunch of cash for people who just aren’t very nice to him.
My ex hubby’s car.... my dad just now got around to looking at it this week and seems like the only thing wrong is the oil plug came out. Only took them a month and a half to check anything.
My house is gross and unorganized and I just don’t really feel like dealing with it.
Work is also bleh.
I did make a dr appointment bc my ears hurt and I have a laundry list of complaints and am seriously wondering if I have fibromyalgia.
I also made a dentist appointment. My office I’d been going to for forever closed rather unexpectedly last year.
Bf made a dr appointment bc he finally has insurance. But sometimes the things he doesn’t know really surprises me…
