We have turned into the family of krankers haha.
So the knitting machines are called hand kranked. So we are krankers.
I got the two new ones today that are the higher end ones. I spent a chunk of change on them earlier this month. It took 25 days to get here.
So far my kids have gone through 3 skins of yarn.
That equals over 10 pair of arm warmers ( also leg warmers) Or their Armor. Missy girl just got another skein out of my tiny stash and is currently making her own pair. Shes 5 :) I cast on and off the machine for the kids and they krank them out :)
I love that they are working on a love of fiber here. I know its that its easy, its “cheat” knitting. But these kids. Its so hard to get them interested in things that arent video games sometimes!! But here they are fighting over who gets to make something next!!

That is so good for them.

Gosh they have run through ALL of my yarn stash now lol! Im going to have to hit up some thrift stores and look for some cheaper yarns for them to use. Im not letting them use my expensive yarns or hand spun yarns lol.

Which models did you buy please.

Addi Kingsize and the smaller pro express. Worth EVERY penny i spent! I have the loops and threads one and its cheap crap.

Ah I would love to have the Addi. They are so expensive, though. Thank you for answering.
