Why is my life one stress after another!!
The other day i told the kids not to slide down the stairs in a cardboard box. Before someone knocks out their teeth. my sister had watched them thinking its funny. yeah funny. So what happens. Co sees this and says hold my sippy cup. He cut his hand open with his pocket knife. Its pretty gnarly.
We had to go to the ER. 4 stitches later.
Thankfully he missed the tendon in the finger and so we dont need to see a surgeon or anything. We will be paying out of pocket but they said they will send the bill to his medical. But it may not cover it because we are out of state. If not, then we get the bill. And oh well right? Price of kids can be expensive.
He was trying to help me, i needed a hole in a soda bottle, but instead of doing it safely with a drill. He tried to dig a hole with a pocket knife. A sharp one.

If his insurance doesn’t pay ; call the hospital and ask for any assistance they can give you . I did not know it but lots of hospitals have funds to help people not covered by insurance or can help you reduce the bill. It’s worth a shot .
