We’ve sold our house. We’ve exchanged contracts to buy our dream forever home. & in two weeks we’ll be moving.
I’m actually so extremely excited. We have basically done all the packing except for the shed & kitchen (& the clothes for the next two weeks obviously!) but Carl will do the shed on Saturday while I’m working.
I’m also working all the hours I can get until the end of the year seeing as we’re moving into a bigger house so need so many things. I’m doing 7 days a week most weeks (10 hours a day on a weekend), some 6 day weeks. But if I do this, in January we can go shopping with 1.5k to kit out some of the house. Even things like curtains, blinds, towels etc.
Our new home is everything I’ve ever wanted. It’s 5 beds, 3 bathrooms & toilet downstairs. But my favourite part of it, the kitchen/family room. I honestly can’t explain how amazing it is. The space is insane. When we went to view it, Carl turned to me & said “I can imagine washing up here while our kids are eating at the breakfast bar” & I literally fell in love all over again. (& we don’t even have kids yet)
This year has been the best year of my life. & I’m so excited for the next ones to come. 💚
