What im learning.
1. i have enough craft stuff to open a craft store. ( i donated several hundred dollars worth to preschool, and more to my mother in law)
2. I have very few “posessions” outside of my camera gear, computer gear and spinning gear that i care about.
3. My kids dont have nearly as many toys as i felt.
4. They have more clothes then value village.
5. Friends are friends in name only. Push comes to shove. They arent there.
6. My circle is so small, i barely fit inside it. No really.
7. Im not going to miss people who wont miss me. The people who care, are people i barely know and have met maybe 5 times in my life! THEY care more then long time friends.
8. Im bitter ( over the long time “friends”)
9. Im also very excited
10. Can we go early? Not before Wednesday, But can we go?

I hate moving

All these people say they'll keep in touch, they never do... And they're not there when you need help

Exactly. I keep getting messages, Oh ill miss you, lets hang out before you go. Ive got 7 days and no one has EVER contacted and said lets get lunch! I would take the break in a heartbeat. Or bring the kids over to play with mine. Break time yes please!
People like to make a social media effort. But not a real one.
I hate moving too, but im excited to restart my life!

Good luck with it all. Moving with kids, you'll deserve a medal! Not just a break

I am sorry your friends let you down. I am glad you are excited . I think I am starting to realize that most of the stuff I have accumulated in my life is not important at all . It will just be stuff I will soon be sending back out in the world for other people :-) I guess it was fun collecting it but I seem to have lost enthusiasm for most of it . Too much of it ends up being crap you have to dust or organize , and that is not fun. Now it’s just the matter of working up the energy to get rid of it . Seems a shame but I do notice feeling less burdened when it’s gone ! I sure did waste a lot of money on it :-( From now on I am only buying things I use often!

Marie Kondo it all!

Not only does it bring me joy. But is it a waste of my money now? Would you move it 4K miles across the country? Can you replace it. Does it have any real value for you....

I enjoy downsizing. Im starting to think a more uncluttered item free life is my way. At least for now... because i REALLY love buying stuff too lol.

Yup. Now it’s just takes me working up the energy to go through it all :-)

And as to the friends. it shows who really cares.
People ive talked to a time or two keep messing me to chat. People ive been friends with since high school? Oh ill miss you, lets hang out. silence. Forget them. I have more to do then that.
