Still alone over here... in Life

Can’t believe it’s been two months since all that happened with that guy I liked. Haven’t met anyone new (still been trying). Had a guy freak out on me last week saying “Fuck you” because he got smart with me and I gave it back to him and like… why do people have to be so crazy? I’ve suffered enough here!!!

Got back from Disney two weeks ago. It was HOOOOTTTT like I never thought it would ever be in November. I’m sure it’s climate change, which is depressing (I also see really bad erosion on my bay beach right now and it’s making me sad and scared, I don’t want to lose my beach!). Basically, you would walk outside and sweat through your clothes in 10 mins. One morning it was 78- THATS NOT EVEN THAT HOT and 95 percent humidity so it felt like 100. At like 8am. Unreal. It was food and wine so I tried lots of foods. We did the Happily Ever After dessert party which comes with a great fireworks spot- and those fireworks are the BEST seriously. We also did Be Our Guest restaurant (Best cupcake in the world) and I had my special chicken sandwich and fizzy orange juice at the Leaky Cauldron at Universal (I went on no rides though). From all that, I think you can see where my priorities lie. lol. We had a better trip with Bradley (10) who didn’t feel sick everyday and insist on going back to the room to lay in bed with his ipad. However, Nick (5) pretty much hated everyone but his mom the whole time and it’s a downer to have your cute nephew who you love yelling in your face IM RIDING WITH MOMMY all the time (especially when at one point he yelled joyously “YOU’RE RIDING ALONE!”). Fun stuff. Disney gets me a little down at times- I absolutely love it and I wouldn’t trade being able to go 2-3 times a year for anything, but it is entirely a family place and I don’t have that obviously. I suspect when I do I won’t be able to go anymore either. haha. When I got home I told my mom “Okay, I really need to go back to visit my aunt and uncle now” even though I was thinking I couldn’t afford it… because....

I bought a new car! I got a new Forester. I had bought my 2014 Forester in the first model year of the new CVT transmission and… that was a mistake. I had problems from the beginning and even though eventually they replaced the transmission, it still started to get loud again on the road and they had never found anything wrong with it causing that. So my dad suggested that it was time to trade it in which sucks because I had NO PAYMENT but at the same time, if my dad says that, it’s time to give up. He will run cars into the ground for real. So it was an ordeal but I bought my new Forester last week and she’s a beauty. Dark blue with orange accents since she’s a sport. I am not taking for granted driving in a car that feels solid and safe, it’s truly a great feeling and making me experience the joy of driving again!

Anyway, my parents are giving me money for xmas, so I’ll book the flight to Fl and worry about paying off my credit cards later… i’ll get there eventually.

Thanksgiving this week- hope you have a lovely time with family, babies! I am celebrating with my cousin and her husband and kids, but not my other cousin this year. I’m glad though because we haven’t really talked since Xmas after she blew me off (except for seeing her at Easter where she acted like it was no big deal which hurt my feelings even more). Should be quiet and I’m good with that. I then have Bradley for the whole weekend, and am going to try to sell some stuff at a craft fair on Saturday. I started making sea glass necklaces, and I’m going to sell some of my cut out art (if it sells). It’s at the zoo so animal cutouts could be a good thing to sell there? Hopefully.

And then I guess we are moving into the holiday season. Time flies.
