At the urging of my friend/ex coworker, I reapplied for the job I had back from December to March. They’re short of help and rehired someone already. I emailed the HR lady and sure enough she set up an interview with the plant manager. Tomorrow ten AM.
I hope it goes well because Chik Fil A went south real quickly. Friday night I had a talk with a manager about harassment. I know my humor is very off color and this place is super religious…but harassment? Are you fucking kidding me? I feel like I’m at Publix again where that Dutch bitch accused me of sexual harassment for complimenting her perfume. So, I jumped the gun and quit. I know I need money but this day and age that’s lawsuit material and I’ll be damned if I’m going to stick around where I’m making someone uncomfortable. It really brought me down.
Then last night I had an intense dream about a friend who ghosted me. She just completely stopped responding to my messages a few years ago. We had been friends for well over a decade. It really hurt.
I think I’m going to go take a long, hot shower to wash the shame off.

OMG... I don't blame you; I would have quit, too. You were already having reservations about the job anyway and feeling out of place, so hopefully the interview goes well and you're rehired at your old workplace!! Fingers crossed!!!
