so yesterday. i went to do my laundry at the laundry place. well to dry it rather. i like the laundry place. place is loud people are quiet. um. i. the people don’t talk to others a whole lot there which is nice. all kinds of people go there. yeah there was this one guy. in a hat he seemed like a ‘Mike’. i think maybe. cause when i was in nashville an. eatery we went to the breakfast one. the waiter his name was ‘Mike’. or something. he was v. nice. the people are really nice down there. i love/d nashville. um. yeah so the one guy in the hat at the laundry place. he reminded me of the guy in nashville. he seemed. knowledge-able. and nice not that i talked to him but just from observation. well turns out. he worked there he was an attendant. oh. that explains it.
well. so i haven’t gone to a laundry place since i was 15. and at first. i put my clothes in the. washing machine for 30 mins. cause from what i recall there weren’t any indicators on the machine itself that it was. a washing machine ya know there was nothing that said ‘wash’ or ‘rinse’ or ‘spin’ or w/e. and so i was like oh ok. yeah i only knew it was a washing machien cause. after it was done. the lady came in and told me. well. that’s embarassing. so then she told me where the dryers were and pointed them out. oh. but then..........she went as far. as. once i’d put my clothes in. the dryer to explain the settings on the dryer to me. ok i’m not stupid. just bc i haven’t gone to a laundry place since i was 15 doesn’t mean i won’t figure out the settings after a couple mins............no need to insult me. [and to me. no she did mean. to insult me. so telling me otherwise won’t help. sorry. this is something my psych. would do not anyone on here i hope.].
but other then that i had a perfectly nice time. see if it had been me. i would’ve asked ‘oh so which machine did you use?’ and then. the other person would’ve pointed it out. then: ‘well. that’s the washing machine those are the dryers’ ‘oh’. ‘i’ll give you some quarters and then leave you to it.’. ok great. instead of hanging around for a couple mins.
