Rough day folks and friends. Busy as hell. Filled with terrible news but when your job is a Prosecuting Attorney, terrible news is… different. The terrible news isn’t “something bad happened to me” it is more, “I will have to be a party to something bad happening to children in order to try to get some justice for those same children.” Too exhausted to read PB or Chive or… do much of anything right now. I merely hope that the next thirty minutes will go without incident and I can end this day and start preparing for the things to come.

It's so draining and painful to deal with the darker side of humanity, but when you can achieve a positive outcome for a wronged party, hopefully it's worth it.

Man, I'm sorry to hear about your bad day but wow, it must be something to be a prosecuting attorney. As far as with the children, it sounds like if it's going to get justice for the children, then it can't really be bad, right? And then if it is, then out of that bad will come something good that's going to help and benefit the children, so that's a good thing. As one previous commenter said, I agree, I'm sure you have a tough job but kudos to you for prosecuting the bad guys and getting justice for those who need it.
