Im not sure if its that im trying my best to take my meds daily, ( well alternate. I cant take both or i get sick so ill take one or the other every day)
Or if its excitement for the move.
Or just excitement for the show.
Or heck even the excitement because ive logged now 5 clients in my schedule. Even if they are all the second week of August ( i may die…)
Im feeling positive. Im not normally SO positive. Normally the anxiety and depression that hang out around the edges of my vision slowly seep the black back over my eyes.
This week, ive been good. I like feeling good. I dont enjoy feeling like crap. I like feeling good, productive and active.

4 more rabbits are supposed to go home tonight. The girl wanted two, she bought a breeding trio instead lol. And someone else wanted my overly sweet friendly black buck. My breeding mentor is going to take my high rufus fawn buck. She wants to breed him again. I said either sell him when you are done, or send me money and she said ok. I probably wont see that money. But oh well. She also wants to buy my stacking cages. I have 3 of them and i spent 200 on them. Prob sell for 150 each, plus the bun for 125. so just shy of 600 dollars if she takes it all. Then my trio im selling for 250, discounted because one doe i just dont like her and would have culled her but she wants her, and the buck is a baby, baby of the black doe. So she can line breed them, but not so much because the two share a genetic line. But its the ones she wanted. I have another doe but she liked those two. so ok. My mentor is also taking my old man back. She bred him years ago, her sister had him, then i did, and hes going back. i dont think he can make the drive. Im going to hang onto him till his coat is ready, then shear him. i may try to breed him to my ariel right before i go. Hes her father too, so line bred. But hes lilac seriously the most rare color there is lol. Its HARD to get it.
Wanna see a rabbit built like a tank lol. His pose is slightly off. But his body is big and thick where it should be :) Hes also friendly AF.

So in the face of all the moving stress. Im still trying my best to be positive. Im going to meet two people for rabbits, Going to the fair grounds to set up my table. There will be overnight security. A booth guy parks his RV in the the area where we do the booths. Its inside a MASSIVE animal barn, so he can park his RV there :) And sleeps on site. So my yarns are safe lol.

Ok, Time to be productive. Take my meds. Pray to god i find some blasted tea in this house. How can i be out?!?! And run for caffeine if im out of tea. Also have to go to the post office. And meet people at 4.

That is the kind I want : friendly !

ChainedChrysalis Deleted user ⋅ July 23, 2019

I try to raise them to be like that!

What do you do that makes them friendly ? Handle them a lot ? Give a lot of treats? We had a mini- lop for six years but she was friendly when we got her as a baby .

I handle them from birth. I mean day one, every day im out there touching. I pet love on and talk to each bunny. As they get older, some become more reserved. And others keep their super outgoing personalities. Mainly boys. Which is part of why i always suggest boys for pets. I think having my kids handle them regularly too helps.

Good hint!

When you bring a new one home, you put them in their house and just talk to them for a few days. Open the cage put your hand in bring treats and just let them come to you and smell you and get used to you. It earns their trust and they learn to associate you with the treat or snack.

I will definitely do that . Thanks!
