When can I catch a break? in My life....I can't make this shit up!

I feel like I’m getting hit and knocked down from Every which way. Thankfully my old man is fine. So fine intact, that he was released after 15 hours in the hospital!
Yesterday I got home and there was 2 inches of water on the bedroom floor from the massive daily deluge! The insurance guy is supposed to be here tonight though, so hopefully it gets fixed soon.
I’ve been having some health issues, some lady issues, and I’ve been putting off going to the doctor. I finally got into the VA today and after almost 2 hours I’m told they need to send me for tons of tests. Since I haven’t had a cycle in 4 years, and now have been bleeding for almost 3 weeks (tmi sorry), along with being over weight, and having PCOS theres a risk of having uterine/ovarian cancers. So, I have an appointment for blood work on Friday, and I’m waiting for a call for ultrasound and a referral to a local Gynecologist so I wouldn’t have to travel to West Palm Beach.
So naturally I jump to the worst case scenario and I’m a hot mess tonight. Tons of thoughts and concerns and what ifs. And tears. Lots of scared tears.
So I get home and I’m trying to keep it together because I dont want to say anything infront of Cam. While cleaning up so the insurance guy can come in I try to wrangle the fur children in Cams room. Poor Maleficent makes a run for it and I accidentally close the door on her tail. I think I broke it. I was able to catch her and could see it’s cut but that’s all. Brian got the carrier and after several minutes of fighting, scratching, and her spraying we got her in. I hope she’ll be alright. Right now I cant afford a vet visit. We’re keeping her in the carrier until this insurance guy leaves (of course hes late) then we’ll let her out in the small bathroom where hopefully we can see the extent of the damage. Ideally locking her in the bathroom for a few days so limit her movements and monitor her she will begin to heal. She used to be a stray so she’s a strong kitty! Doesn’t make me feel any better though.
I’m so miserable. I want to curl up and quit. I dont know how much more I have left.

Edit UPDATE:
Maleficents tail is moving like normal and doesn’t appear bent. It still looks a little bloody, but she wont really let me see it. She has ate some dry kibble and wet food and drank water. We bought her a new bed and she’s closed up in the small guest bathroom. The boys (Sebastian and Earl Grey Tea) have been at the door talking to her. They have a new litter box in the big bathroom now since they’re all separated for a couple days.
