Yard Sale day #1 in Second 1st

Yard Sale did well yesterday though there were periods where there was no one there. When they did come it was like 7-8 people at a time. One lady came through and got 41 dollars of stuff :) on the opposite side of that we also had a thief. She apparently needed to steal 3 small toys. They were in blind boxes and she went around to one side of a table and turned a large object like she was examining it. Opened the containers and left them there. She had been shopping and asked Rocky if he could set the things she was holding aside..... this made no sense. i mean who comes to a yard sale to have someone hold things for them? Anyways. She had been one of the few people who came through and no one else had shown. Just after that I went through and kinda straightened things up and found 3 empty packaged.... as if I’d sell them like that.... whatever. We toyed with the idea that she may come back and get the other stuff but ultimately just put that stuff back in the yard sale. Sad story.... and I’d know her if she came back today. I will ask her to pay $3 for the toys she took or leave. Refuses either Rocky said call the cops. I’m all like “for $3? that’s not worth there time” but I might threaten it just because I don’t want to deal with a thief. Thankfully though it was $3 in stuff and not $80.

I am soooo burnt. mom said I need to spend more time inside today but whatever. I want to sell this shit So I’ll be outside a lot. I have to get over to the neighbors and get the things Rocky didn’t yesterday ( 2 large outdoor shades and a marble top coffee table with a crack in it). I’ll go get those before we “open”.

Last night we parked mom’s car and my car to block off the driveway. Apparently Sammy thought there was enough room to park his car behind my car (which is what Rocky was taking to work this morning). So at some point today I need to tell Sammy “Unless you want Rocky to wake you up at 4:30 in the morning you need to park on the street when you get home. I thought Sammy and I had already talked about that. Saying that when we have the yard sale he’ll have to park on the street.... and yesterday i had moved his car to the street so.... well the boy is book smart but most days has no damn logic. However, on the other side I also thing Rocky overreacts to things. He has woken Sammy at 4:30 hollering for him to move his car and personally I just move it myself .... takes less time.... a ton less.... and less stressful.

It’s 5:45 I’m going to find some socks and shoes and get started on yard sale things while the sun is just starting to give light and not so much heat.
