cause they can't even communicate internally in Second 1st

So, I did tell you guys that my job sold me right? and that I figured I was going to have to start a new Short Term disability case. Well, today the lady from STD company #2 called to explain to me that STD company one would still be handling my claim. That they would be handling it till I no longer had a claim, that is how it works. OKay! call STD company #1 to find out why then did I not get a check the 12th (and won’t get one tomorrow). Welp, they told me they didn’t have a case open for me. That I was terminated the 31st of last month. Now I figured that’s how they did it. I mean Nissan would have to Terminate me for Envision to hire me I guess. Really I thought that’s what they would do. What I was unaware of was that the old company should have still been carrying me. That I was “terminated”. it’s a big word ya’ll. It means I fails to do my job. Which I have not.

I tried to call HR again which I had done Monday with no response..... no call back.... it’s Thursday. So how long do I need to wait? I’m sitting here kinda freaking out, not being able to see numbers well to call anyone, from dizziness. Rocky took over and said I should talk to a lawyer. So we found some information online and did an online chat with someone and now I can expect a Lawyer to call me.... what Monday? because it’s a holiday weekend.

Won’t matter. Hr finally called me back and I explained what I had been calling about. He said the pay part will be taken care of on Monday and they will get things straight with STD companies. So that’s good. I’m exhausted and my head hurts a ton.

Have a meet in 15 mins. After that I’m laying down.... probably to bed.... but just in case you guys ever wonder why I still have Rocky this is it. When I’m all messed up and emotionally charged he’s a good bit level headed. He held me when I was crying and dizzy. Yes, I was crying over “terminated” I know I’m not actively working and ultimately if I can’t get cleared to go back to work I’ll try for gov. disability but those things should be in my own time. I mean on the time line expected. not a sudden your fired, no notice, no pick slip. Nothing. There is a whole portion of the law that says they can’t do that. I still want to talk to a lawyer but with HR actually talking to me it will be more hypothetical. Then I will talk to them about filing for gov disability and what I’ll need when the time comes.
