The Road to Awe in Poetry

The world decays
As the stars and Moon
Cycle in a utopic
Cyclic parade
Creating the circus below
Mirroring thoughts
That produce negativity
The perception of false positivity

My love is dead
Cold and darkness
Set in
I feel the death
Of the Alchemist’s plan
To bring rebirth
Purifying what is impure
Welcoming death
Forgetting fate
Seeding hate
And closing the gates

I’m in between
Pain and time
There are
No straight lines
The pyramids are guides
To the mysteries
The sands provide

Death is the road to Awe
It’s just another
Part of the story
Where life meets death
And I’ll be reborn again
Where love meets hate
Darkness collides with light
The journey has just begun
This is only the beginning
The end is still far away
The fatal wound
Stabbing my heart
As I stitch together
The pieces you’ve torn apart
