Man, it’s been a while. In the last few months, I’ve started posting thoughts as they come on twitter and taken to hand journalling the thoughts that I don’t want anyone to see. I might transcribe some of them here at some point, at the very least so I can access those thoughts again. Let’s start with some updates. I’m in the last term of my community college, taking two psych course, a botany class, and an online writing class. I got accepted to a university and, as it stands, I should be able to finish my BA (and maybe a MA) for free. I could, if I had to, actually pay my tuition with my savings, but I would much rather keep that money if possible. So I’ll be transferring in the fall and hoping that I will actually stick with it. It feels like I just became comfortable at my current school but hopefully, the studying will keep me engaged. I also promised myself that I would get my license by my birthday, so in 4 months. I think it’s definitely possible. That being said, parking at my new school, which is nestled downtown, is ridiculously expensive and the campus is only one bus away from me, the stop like a 3-5 minute walk. So that is probably more ideal anyway. In other news, my brother has been through a lot too. He got really bad for a few days and we talked and he told me that he does think that he’s depressed and he doesn’t know what to do. Since then, things have been okay and I think he knows that I’m here for him. His 18th birthday was on Easter and earlier this week he finished (and passed!) his last GED test and got level 99 thieving in runescape.
In my brain-o-sphere, there has been a lot going on. I don’t really have the time or energy to get into it all right now. It’ll probably get broken into different entries to appeal to my virgo tendencies. Basically, I’ve got a heat pack on my back, I want to vomit, and my urge to cry is almost unbearable. I’ve got work tonight so I don’t want to totally fall apart just yet.
