This has got to have turned out to be one of the most exciting days I’ve had in a long time.

It started out with the bread. I made a loaf and it turned out great BUT I’m not sure if it could be better.... so I started another loaf for a side by side comparison. I’ve never used Bread flour before.... always used all purpose flour and honestly didn’t know what the difference was. About to see in a very real physical way. I was so excited about the bread machine and I didn’t want to mess anything up so I bought bread flour and made the first loaf with that. It seems a bit heavy..... so we will see....that’s not exciting..... lol

We went to Rocky’s Dr. appointment and they had a quick conversation about how SOMETHING he’s dong is helping. So continue that and see you in 3 months.... cool.... on the way up to the DR office (3rd floor) the elevator made me dizzy. I didn’t get decently normal until we were on our way out when:

A man speaking Spanish came running through the hall and we locked eyes. He started telling us something and we couldn’t understand him. Neither of us speak Spanish however he obviously needed help so I tried. ONE WORD hit me Nena? .... BABY! OMG “Rocky someones having a baby in the parking lot” The Mexican started repeating baby over and over excited to have found some understanding. Rocky ran off with the guy and hit the 2 front offices on the way out looking for a nurse. At one office no one was at the desk and at the other the lady said “we do CT scans here” and went back to what she was doing. It’s frustrating because we weren’t asking her to come deliver a baby but to call someone who could. Got outside someone said (and pointed out) the parking lot Emergency phone. Rocky grabbed the Mexican and ran over there to push the button. I hung back while people started pooling at the door talking about how we should get a wheelchair when someone said “The baby is already born” I made my way to the car and heard it crying. I only poked my head in to see the baby was okay, mother hadn’t given up the afterbirth yet. She was holding the baby with it’s umbilical still attached and her legs wide open. Baby was head in her left hand in a towel, feet at the inside of her elbow. I ran over to the E-box Rocky was at and they seemed to all be talking too much. The Mexican again getting frustrated kept saying It wasn’t his family in Spanish. Rocky was trying to explain where the woman was. I butted it “Okay listen, a woman just had a baby in the parking lot in front of the DePaul Building she needs medical attention.” “The DePaul building?” “Yes the building right next to you. They seem to be ok but they need to get to the hospital” I’d say about 30 seconds later an Ambulance was pulling up. Rocky wrangled a tad bit of traffic to get them where they needed to be. As soon as the Ambulance stopped 6 nurses, 3 security guys, and a fire truck showed up. lol I looked at Rocky and said it’s time to go we’ve done our part. I hollered Congratulations and we were off. That was amazing!

Other stuff has happened but they PALE in relation and after that long thing right there I feel the need to start another entry instead of more on this one.... sooooo
