Lately the sky has been weird. Thunderstorms and lightening fill the sky. Raindrops are enormous and pour down unto the earth. High temperatures and rain are not the normal weather for Southern Cali. My mom talks about the end of the world and it makes me wonder.....
Last night I was talking with my cousin and she told me awhile ago, when she was a freshman in highschool, my grandma carolyn had TMJ and suffered from tremendous pain. She was on valium because back then they didn't really know how to handle TMJ (which is something to do with the jaw) Well my grandma couldnt handle the pain and overdosed on a bunch of pills, trying to commit suicide. She passed out and was locked in her bed room. My grandpa broke down the door and took her to the hospital. Luckily she lived and I had a chance to get to know her... She almost died and when she got out of the hospital she had a whole new outlook on life and became a very spiritual person. She became happy. It was very weird for the fact that the same exact thing happened to me when I almost died so I know exactly how she felt. Like maybe there is a reason I am here. I was totally enlightened afterwards and my whole attitude towards life changed.
Everyday I have been trying to read as much as I can. Reading really makes you smarter because you gain so much more new knowledge. I read before school, before class starts, lunch, after school, at night. Just any time I can. I totally stopped reading for such a long time and forgot how fun it was. One of my goals is to just read and finish as many books as I can before the school year ends. That's the good thing about seperating my school life from my social life. I can just hang out by myself and do what I want and don't have to worry about stupid drama at school. I've had enough of that this year. I bet everyone here thinks I'm this huge geek since they mostly see me with a book or walking alone. But I know I have friends out side of school and I'm not this huge geek. If only these people saw me on the weekends they would be soo suprised haha.
