I felt that weight on my chest. I laid myself down on my sofa to rest up and I woke up on my bed. I wasn’t awake but I was conscious. If that makes sense. I started my way out of bed only to snap back to the beginning the instant I realize that I am “asleep”. That weight that would be holding me down would pull me back. I was trapped. I make it further into the house each time but something is always wrong. The kitchen window will be a wall. The railing to the stairs is missing. I had a moment where I stopped fighting and accepted that I was dreaming and then I suddenly was in a building. Something was behind me so I ran. I run into a room and close the door behind me and race to the next door. The closed door behind would always burst open. The rooms I escaped to kept getting smaller and they keep getting darker. So small and dark that I would end up in crawl spaces. The last space was too small but there was a latch on the ceiling. I started climbing. Level after level and the spaces were getting brighter. Something was always right behind me chasing me and I just wanted to wake up. Finally I come to because the dog in my house started barking. Thank dog.
.
I have experience with sleep paralysis but this one was different. I was mobile.
