so my little town and the surrounding areas have been on a winter apocolypse shut down. Even though we got some ice and nothing more. But that's ok because my job has a rule: when our parish schools close, so do we. which means I just had two days off and i loved it! Kidlet and I spent time together, I got to be a slug around my house...it was grand. Unfortunately, I have to go back to work tomorrow and toodle bug goes back to school :( (ok maybe I should have more grown up names for my almost 8 year old lol)
So I recieved an email saying the IRS accepted my return, they wont process until Jan 31 though. So a couple more days and they can get going! I have a few bills to pay off, vacay money to set aside, kidlets party to plan for.... sucks that life is determined by moolah, but it is what it is. Oh, Oh and finally, FINALLY seeing about a DIVORCE!!! I think almost 6yrs is time, don't you? Legal Aide hasn't called me back, so I think I'm officially going up there to see what I can do about all of this. I'm worried b/c if they contact him he'll use this as an excuse to get me in court for visitation rights. And Idk how that will turn out since he's supposedly has a job close to town now. And that terrifies me....giving up my baby to him, every other weekend...every few weeks...anytime....ugh. It terrifes me to no end. I'm really praying that once I tell them I have no way of contacting him and no known address, they'll just file me a pauper type divorce and we'll be done with it.
I booked the hotel for my godchild and I, for our concert. I've done nothing but create outfits in my head for this. She's been texting me outfit ideas for her lol We are crazy. It'll be so much fun and it'll be her first time going away that far overnight w/out her family. Give her a little break. Can't believe it's only one week away! Then in March I head back that way with my friend for a Luke Bryan concert!!! Sorry, I just squealed really loudly. I think I have my outfit picked out for that lol Sad, I know.
I'm still talking to the guy I mentioned in previous entries. The whole sex thing lies as it was. It hasnt' happened, and not sure it will. We hung out on martin luther king day but I haven't seen him since because he started work at another plant...the whole town shut down for ice..etc. But that just makes it easier to talk and not worry about the physical part.
