New laptop, yay! in Days of My Destiny

This is my second ever laptop. My first one lasted about 4 years. The last six to twelve months it has been giving me trouble and I have been VERRRRY patient. Lately my patience had been running out but we were trying to wait until tax time to get a new one for me. This morning, though, it just wasn’t doing anything. It was time.

This new laptop is smaller and lighter and more compact and it’s just beautiful. I’m very excited :) It is one amazing thing that has happened in my life lately (other than breathing and being alive and all of those things we take for granted). Honestly, now that I have this one, I realise that trying to manage with the old one was adding some unnecessary stress to everything else that’s already been going on - I just hadn’t realised it.

I want to write about the weekend because it went from the complete pits to decision-making that has turned things around for me. L and I had a big fight and it gave me insight into who he is in the middle of the mud. I also want to write a bit more about the slow journey I am on to really re-create my sense of peace and freedom this year. I am discovering more and more that this sense of peace and freedom is more internal than external, and that definitely the internal influences the external, more than the other way around (at least that’s the case for me at the moment).

I can’t believe the first website I came to on my new laptop was prosebox, lol.
