Merry Christmas to you my lovely friends. May your days be filled with love, joy, and peace.

I will be celebrating with my mom who has been in the nursing home since her latest surgery at the beginning of the month. We will be together and that is what matters. My dad flew to Chicago this past week to be with my brother who had his second hip replaced. First Christmas without being with both parents and my first Christmas without my grandpa. I have been very stressed and overworked and this Christmas just doesnโ€™t feel like Christmas. As we grow older though life changes and we must adapt and so I will make the most of it and I am excited as we have a white Christmas this year. I hope to write more this week as I am on vacation until the 2nd. Take care and enjoy the holidays however you celebrate them.

I'm sorry you can't be with both parents. I hope you still had a lovely Christmas.

I'm sure it was different, nonetheless, I hope it was joyous. :)
