I work with a girl that is hearing impaired. She slurs a lot, but she’s obviously highly intelligent.

It’s just interesting. I default to spanish on the line, even with white folk.

I’ve learned her signal for “can I have a drink?” I usually mimic it, then give her a thumbs up.

To think, when I covered in another store yesterday, they were all Indian. And I don’t speak Hindi.
