Tuesday was a dialysis day for my brother. He leaves home at 11am and returns around 5-5:30pm. He has been doing better but after smoking a cigarette, he got up and became dizzy and fell straight backward on to the kitchen floor. He’s 77 and broke his hip two years ago. This time his spine caught the full force of the fall. He can’t sleep on his back, sleeps in a chair, sitting up. But he won’t go to the ER or his doctor. Of course he was unable to go to dialysis today. He has kidney failure, lung cancer, prostate cancer. Colon cancer, cancer on his hand, a quadruple bypass and an anuryism in his Aeorta. He’s very sick man and my best friend and brother. I am 63 and divorced so he stays with me.
