We did soooo good today. in Second 1st

I am excited to say that we got those bushes out of the front yard. They are now in the back yard dying/drying/waiting for Rocky to chainsaw for fun. I wasn’t sure it would work but we managed to pull them all out with the SUV and a chain.

That was my front yard. As I see it when those bushes leaf/flower up this year you won’t see the front door at all. I’m so very excited to say this is way more like what I’d like:

We took all the bushes to the back and it will be a few weeks before we can finish the project but the hard stuff is done now :)

I actually have a yard in my yard and not a garden that’s far to big for me to manage.

Took a shower, took a nap, got the mail. Got a coupon for camels and the neighbors happened to be outside so I asked if they wanted them. I know Eddie smokes, he said not camels but he knows someone who does. Then, his wife (or gf) said “Looks great by the way” They also thought it looked far too crowded and are very glad we cleaned it up. Eddie offered to help with the dogwood “I’m a lot cheaper than my buddy” and when I was talking about how we pulled them all with a chain we borrowed from a work friend he said “We have all kinds of that stuff here too you can borrow” I immediately asked about a ladder, a nice tall one to fix the gutters with. Yeah! I almost can’t wait to tell Rocky! :) I mean he was there for the clean up but it’s going to make him happy that the neighbors are so nice :).
