tad bit of a rant in Second 1st

10 years together and it has finally happened… I dreaded it. I brought it on… not significant to other people but it is to me.

Yesterday, while checking out at a store Rocky was looking at my head. He wanted to say something and didn’t. I probably cut him off talking about something unimportant I’ve seen that look. Not recently. I long time ago from people who thought they were better than me. ....

I have dandruff, horribly bad. I always have. It has become far less of an issue these past few years as I have discovered the wonderful benefit of tea tree shampoo. I tend to keep it. I wash my hair twice a week. May seem like too little to some. It’s been enough to keep my hair looking and feeling healthy.

Last week I was sick most of the week and when I went to shower Thursday I had no energy so I skipped washing my hair. So when I went to wash it Sunday night it had been a full week since I washed it. It was still not greasy and gross because my head doesn’t produce that much oil which is why I feel fine with twice a week and how my scalp gets so dry and flaky.....It also helps keep color. I have a nice pink strip in my hair. (lighter and uneven now as it’s washing out)

Anyways, I guess washing it had kicked up more than I had washed out?....He felt the need to tell me today (before we go anywhere) “did you wash your hair?” “No, why?” “You had a ton of stuff in it yesterday” “It will be fine.” “I’m unclear what you mean by that” “It’s just a little dandruff. I will wash it again Thursday. I’m not worried about it.” He promptly turned around and went to take a shower.

I don’t care who thinks this is gross really. I have gone to all kinds of extremes because of the dandruff. If I wash more often… scrub harder… use other shampoos… it’s worse… or I get scabs on my head!

I wash my hair twice a week. If I were to do something like go to the beach… a pool… I’m likely to wash it after that regardless of when in the week that event happened.... heavy cleaning applies as well. In any situation where things might be in my hair that don’t belong there.

He’s out of the shower.... I guess we will get moving soon.

Nothing important to do today, just thought we’d go check out a goodwill or 2.... I still need a coffee table and could use a couple more pairs of jeans for work.
