NJM15: Entry 12 in These Foolish Things

Good lord, people. It’s my last day here and I NEED to go home. I can’t handle this much fun anymore.
I had a true whirlwind fling and I couldn’t be more thrilled and I think that he feels the same as well.
We just had breakfast together and bid each other goodbye and he thanked me for the time together and as I was thanking him back he told me that he really needed this/me at this time and I told him the same. We had been in similar places in our hearts so this tiny love story couldn’t have happened at a better time and with a better person.
I am beyond thankful for this trip.
Much, much more to write and I’ll probably get the rest of this story out during my flight tonight.
For now, I need to go outside for a walk, then I’ll come back and pack my bags, check out of the hotel and get my ass to the airport to end this two-week business trip.
It’s time to go home.
