NJM15: Entry 13 in These Foolish Things

Happy Friday the 13th from somewhere over the Pacific Ocean.

Boy this wifi all the way over and back is wild! I can keep up with pretty much everything over here - including the couple of sweet FB texts from my fling a ding ding! I think this guy might actually like me like me.

I got a little bit of sleep so far on this flight, which is amazing because I didn’t sleep a wink on the flight over. I really have a hard time sleeping sitting up, but I guess sheer exhaustion finally kicked in for a while, so I actually got a couple of hours. Amazing.

Got a late check out at the hotel and took a taxi to the airport. I was very surprised that I was given a pass to the Cathay Pacific Business Class lounge where I could sit and have a glass of wine and some noodles and dumplings before getting on the plane. I also got to chat for a while with a former big boss who was on her way back home. We’d kind of tried to get together at some point during both of our travels, but I absolutely believe that I got the better end of the deal with my guy friend.

And now I’m on the plane and headed back to reality. Not sure how I feel about that.

First of all, I have to go on a diet. I can’t even with this getting flabalicious. Sure, I’m still fuckable (heh), but I’m self-conscious.

Secondly, I have to figure out this job situation. Lots more to write about that.

And third, I need a real love life. And I’m not just talking flings here, people.

I have a lot, lot, lot to do. I can’t believe that this year is almost over! Much to change and get done. I’m glad I got a semi-new leash on life.

OK. Having trouble concentrating. Maybe I need a little bit more sleep before this tube lands.
