I Never Felt So Dumb in School Chronicles

I had to remember my own advice to my son: ASK YOUR TEACHER.
That’s a problem with smart people. We think we know every damn thing and when we don’t, we don’t want to look stupid so we act like all is well with the world until it’s not. And then we’re shit out of luck.

So the writing assignment was the drafting of complaints. This is practically the hands on work I need. My daily job is so much different from this training that it is weird to me and I feel like I’m out of touch. Those in class with me, in previous classes as well, seem to have been going to school for a while and I promise I feel like such the newbie in all of this. This is kind of a total career change for me.

So drafting complaints. We were given a scenario. I was kind of stumped and only got so far trying to use book examples (we’re suing Caesar’s Palace-lol) and looking at examples from internet images. It wasn’t working. So since he said it was a rough draft I thought okay cool. It’s not due until next class. Quiz/midterm will be posted on Friday and must be done by Tuesday. We will only have an hour.

So when I get done typing this, I will finish up my complaint because it is simple and because I needed help. Nothing wrong with that. I’ve never done this before.

::cheeeeeese::

I just find out stuff on my own if I don't want to ask

I tried, but it made no sense. Just needed the point in the direction. I got it though.
