See, I think the reply is mean-spirited and unnecessary. Maybe it's because I've spent so much time outside of the gay ghettos but I feel like gay men have lost the ability to empathize with moments of discovery. We need to embrace kindness and realize that we don't have a label for this guy since he hasn't even officially given himself one. Maybe he is bi? And also, we don't know which sexual role he assumed and so the bottom-shaming is both tasteless and tacky. This just rings of prejudice to me and I think it's disgusting.

Fair enough. I didn't take it so seriously. It is overly bitchy, which is why I found it so funny. The reply appears to be from someone who has a lot of straight friends and has this prejudiced view that gays are vultures who will jump on any cock no matter the sexuality.
I know quite a few gays here who tend to ONLY go for married straight guys and I feel they need a reality check via a reply similar to this. Maybe he is bi, but he clearly wasn't comfortable with what happened.
