Bait in meh...

I was perusing Facebook today.
A friend had reposted an item that was taken out of context to bait people into anger. It worked. The person who initially posted it took it out of it’s politcal context because it was a cartoon and some folks apparently don’t know about politcal cartoons Her captions was, “So Houston thinks this is funny???”
It was a cartoon of Sandra Bland’s funeral hearse being pulled over for failing to signal and another cop saying a sly remark about the cigarette.

And I sat back and watched it start. The first comment “WTF?? That is so disrespectful…” etc., so on and so forth.

Again, because it is a politcal cartoon not meant to be humerous by any means, I intercepted. Not because I’m arrogant and smart, because I’m not, but because I like to keep people abreast of the dangers of baiting. People will get all bent out of shape and wish your house burned because of baiting.

This is the reason why, when I see such posts, I have to do some research first. Like my cousin and the one article she reposted. Trying to have people set fire to life.

Then the fallen angel art exhibit. My brother’s best friend posted that one. First off, that was disgusting. Looked like someone glued extremely large chicken wings on some old lady’s back. LOL He was all over that. I left that one alone.

One thing that is not bait, but is just PLAIN irritating: This one person, asking via multiple status updates about confirming the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown. He was acting like this was his first cousin he used to change her diaper when she was a baby. “assorted tagged friends I’m going down there. Y’all going too, right??” My aunt found yet another way to talk about how much she missed my grandmother and losing a mother. I already know I’ll be jacked up if my mother ever passes, but I’m not going to make a stage performance every time I think of her or miss her. That’s what she does. But that’s just me. I’m not a drama queen. I’m dramatic. I can be dramatic as hell on paper, but I’m just not a performer. If you don’t believe me, catch me at karaoke. LOL

AnyTwhooo…

The world is going nuts right now.
I’m not ignoring it. It’s just too much to handle.
And I can handle a lot.
Tell someone you love them…

Kindest regards,
Sister
