Salading Consent. in The Napkin.

It’s interesting how older people get offended when you politely say “no” to something they’re offering. Like, if your mom makes salad, you politely decline, and she goes on a tirade about how “I made this for you!” Even though you never asked for salad.
Makes it not surprising that a lot of people don’t understand basic informed consent. No matter the situation, you are ALWAYS allowed to say “no, thank you.”

Which is why I always ask people before I start cooking.

"Hey, is blah cool?"
Or if I make something and someone doesn't want it, WHY WOULD YOU GET OFFENDED. I'd only be offended if someone was all "why did you make that, you know I can't eat that."

Or, much like my ISU ordeal of asking two dudes if they wanted pizza, discussing what they would eat on said pizza and then me going through the work of making pizzas and then being told they're not gonna eat them (throws hands up) that was infuriating.
