I feel like the internet has gotten far more impersonal. We used to splay parts of ourselves out to see. It’s like it’s less about bringing attention to yourself, and more bringing attention to things for other people to be interested in.
I don’t know. I was somehow drawn to the Wayback Machine, and the silent reminder of the entries I lost back in 2004. At the time, I joked that it was “for the best.” Yet now, a part of me wants to know The Truth.
That’s why we go reading old entries, isn’t it? The Truth.
I feel like the older I get, the harder it is to express myself.
