With all this talk about metadata, I’ve been looking at a couple of links people are sharing.
Wanna see how scary Google is? If you have a mobile on you (it doesn’t matter if it’s a smartphone or not), it tracks where you are every 45 seconds.

I don't mind that one bit. I have not done anything illegal, and if I get murdered or get into an accident, it's nice to think someone might be able to find me! :)

That's how I feel about it, too. I looked it up a few months back and was slightly freaked out, but when you think logically about it - we should have already realized that it was happening. Hopefully none of us go missing and need the technology to be utilized!

Google has no location history for me for any date :) I keep my GPS off. My Web logging is off. I try to keep my stuff as private as possible...
