I Remember... in meh...

I was 16. I was seeing an older guy. Our relationship was good. He was grown. I was mature. He taught me some stuff. We talked. We had a good time together.

I remember that night we were chilling in my room. The way the house was, we didn’t have a common area to entertain guest because we had so many people in our house. My mother’s room was right next to mine so there was no issue with me having company in my room.

But that night, mom was in her room. Usually when he came over, she was at church. We were in my room. I put on some music. Good music. Not because I wanted to set a mood. I’m a fan of ballads so that’s what I played. My tapes I made from songs on the radio. We were lying on my bed. My head rested on his legs, he propped himself up on his elbow. It was a good time. We talked and kissed and talked. Makes me smile to think about it.

We eventually hopped of the good foot and did the bad thing which was kind of funny. I told him that we couldn’t. He pulled up a small foot stool I had. He sat on it to keep the bed from squeaking. LOL I kept trying to talk to him like we were having a real conversation.

We had a good run, but it ended kind of messy. We had to. His job would have been on the line if we didn’t. Too many people caught wind and figured it out.

He was cool. :)

I love ballads! "Here's That Rainy Day" is one of my favorites, played it on tour in Europe and loved it ever since. http://youtu.be/j44RePau7Qg

PS, there are other versions, extended of that featuring musicians. I shared the basic tune.
