They entice you by giving you an expensive vacation for pennies if you agree to sit down for 90 minutes and listen to their spill.
It sounds amazing - they make you feel like the most awesome person on the planet. Then, they give you a figure of 16k and tell you that you buying points to use for vacationing. They show you numbers of how much you will be spending over the next 25 years. Keep in mind - this is something you CAN control even though they leave that out of the conversation.
Then they ask you to sign a contract for life that costs you 16k at 15% interest and yearly maintenance that could increase to as much as 4%. They cannot guarantee that it won’t go higher.
When you point out that you don’t make purchases on things that can’t be controlled or guaranteed - they will show you the door. They are no longer nice and they act like they just caught you stealing from them.
