The lawyer finally got the payment week before last, but I haven’t seen any money yet.
I’ve resolved not to bother the attorney about it until Wednesday, but I will look eagerly every damn day.
Been discussing with my FIL strategies for dealing with the money.
My previous thought was to put a portion into my Roth IRA holdings, but I can’t do that as it’s not earned income.
Otherwise, following stuff like this (https://www.thefp.com/p/the-new-york-times-miscarriage-of-journalism) from TheFP, and preparing for all the fun stuff surrounding this clinical trial.
My neurologist is the one running the trial, and is very eager to get me into it. It’s another twice-daily pill instead of a shot. Um. Okay.
But I don’t know that I wrote about my visit with her, her resident, and a rookie med student Tuesday.
I fell getting out of the wheelchair to go into the exam room. Made quite a bit of noise. Rousted her out of the other patient she was seeing.
It’s interesting dealing with the residents, and med students.
But the clinical trial is going to require I go into Georgetown every 90 says, and get all my MRIs done there.
But they’re gonna cover the costs.
And provide me rides to/from.
