Welp we are all official now.
I ordered bowling shoes ( black and hot pink) Got them and they were a tid bit tight in 9s. for reference I wear 8s for loaner shoes and 9-10 in normal shoes. So Little girl tried them on and ran off cackling because they fit her great haha.
I ordered 9.5s seeing it was just a bit tight. They fit pretty good and have removable inserts, so I took them out and added one of my special pairs that support my bad foot. yay.
Now we have matching shoes.
Her bowling ball came in and we took it to the bowling pro shop so they could drill its holes. did you know they dont come with holes lmao... I picked a ball there and they fit and drilled it.
So now we BOTH have blue and purple glitter balls ( not the same ones)
L's bowling shoes came in, T already had his shoes and ball from like 2 weeks ago. Now its all official. A T and I are going tonight, L got a new game and hes 14... soooo haha.
Im now hunting for ball bags on etsy and found some really awesome vintage ball bags Like this one! They arent much difference in price from new canvas bags on amazon. T has a double ball bag because he has his curve ball and a straight ball that L uses. A has a single ball bag. Me? Imma use a tote bag that I had made a few years ago for a reuseable shopping bag because its handy and strong enough for my weenie 8 lb ball.
Its nice that T has an interest now so Its easy to find some things on etsy for fathers day like the i shine my balls with this rag. and some funny tee shirts. Its easier then him just being into anime and 3d printing. I tried filament one time and he got all ragey because it was the wrong stuff lol.
Well. At least I wont have to stick my hands in loaner balls and be grossed out. While they spray out shoes, They do NOT spray out balls after each use. I gag a bit... But thats my OCD related to germs kicking in. It triggers hassive handwashing episodes that often involve bleaching myself
Well its almost time to pick up the boy, bring him home, then go bowling. Tomorrow im taking my car in for her first service. we hit 5k miles.
