Inversion in What Wants to Move Through Me Today?

It occurred to me, today, that “there is nothing new under the sun” is an inversion.

It’s a lamentation- I think, anyways- that no-thing is unique, everything has been done already, every possible thought has been thought, every idea has aleeady been discovered, that everything is just a less glamourous repeat of what already was, and we’re in a state of devolutionary decline.

But as I thought about it, I realized that couldn’t be correct. We, here on earth as unique and imperfect beings, are unique and imperfect in individual and novel ways, each of us. And, the sun is the faithful, unchanging, and devoted standby which always was, is, and will be, perfectly…

So strange to think of this as an inversion. How it’s inverted.
