T-spinning in Diary

My car is sort of broken down at the moment, which has ended up being a huge pain as I’ve had to get rides to and from work from my dad every day for the past week and a half. The auto shop I took my car to ripped me off for $600, fixing things that didn’t need to be fixed and grossly overcharging for “labor”. I’m obviously a little irritated at them for that. This past Friday my car was supposedly fixed, so I paid them and headed off to work, only to have my car break down after about 10 minutes of driving. Luckily, I was able to drive it back to the shop. The guy behind the counter didn’t seem overly happy to see me again even though I had just gotten done shelling out hundreds of dollars, and for nothing, at that. And I wasn’t too happy about my car having the exact same problem it had before I took it in to be repaired in the first place. So anyway, my car is still at the shop and I haven’t heard anything from them yet, this week. I guess I’ll have to call them tomorrow. That, or I’ll just wait it out.

Work has been…work. It’s alright, most of the time. I don’t love it, but I can stand it. I talked to some lady today whose car had caught fire and burned up her and her husbands wallets. There wasn’t anything I could do to help her, I’m afraid. They were stuck on an island, in Hawaii, with nowhere to stay the night. I’m having to work 8 9-hour shifts for the next 7 days. Today was the first of those longer-than-usual days. It’s fine. At least I get 12/25 and 1/1 off. Yay :). Hopefully I can find a store that’s open on the 25th so I can do my shopping. Good luck to me on that one, I’m sure. I haven’t done anything Christmas-y for the past couple years, and I don’t see any reason this year should be different. I’m not opposed to celebrating the holiday…I just don’t really get into it. I don’t have a girlfriend or a family of my own, my mom is more of a Hanukkah type of person, my dad doesn’t care about Christmas either, and my sister lives out of state. It’s all good though. Maybe my dad and I will watch a football game, though.... We’ll see.

I’ve been playing a lot of Tetris, lately, which has been lots of fun. Though I still regularly get destroyed by other players, online. Heh. But that’s alright. I enjoy it anyway. The Sims 4 has been fun, too, though it’s far less stimulating. No t-spins in that one.

I guess that’s all I’ve got to say for today. I’m tired from work and from not getting enough sleep last night. Take care, everyone.
