Up North Monday, July 04, 2005
I had a good weekend. I went up north to my parent's cottage. There's a new neighbor that I have never seen before. He was really cute. He kept checking me out. I kept checking him out too. We talked briefly and then only seen each other once in a while through out the 2 days I was up there. I wanted to stay for the fire works tonight, but I was just too tired. My mom and I rode our bikes around the lake twice and took the paddle boat out twice. That's 10 miles on the bike and no idea how far on the paddle boat. The first trip was an hour and a half. The second trip was about 45 minutes. I wanted to go golfing with my dad, but it rained. I was exhausted anyway.
I almost got to go for a ride on a jet ski. My mom jumped off the paddle boat to swim, but couldn't get back on. (she's almost 60 give her a break) Some hot guy came up on his jet ski and offered to help her. She got back on with out him but he was a real sweet heart to offer. I really wanted to see if he'd give me a ride on his jet ski. We kind of had an awkward moment like he was going to ask, but then didn't. I watched him tool around the lake and he kept showing off. It was cute. Then we were literely to ships passing in the day. My ship was a paddle boat, and his was a jet ski.
So I struck out on two guys. Oh well. I am thinking about going back up there on my vacation which is the end of July. I would just go up there alone. Maybe I'll take my computer to work on my book. There is no internet up there, but I think I could handle it.
Well, I have to work 10 hours tomorrow so I am going to get going. I hope everyone had a good July 4th!
